Global Claim Services was born during hurricane Fran on the coast of North Carolina in the fall of 1996. Three adjusters working for various vendors and Insurance Companies during the storm compared notes as we processed claims for our respective employers. We decided that there had to be a better way to service the Insurance industry and Paramount, the policy-holder.
As catastrophe losses have increased the last Ten years, there has been a proliferation of catastrophe Adjusters to swell the ranks. It became apparent that there is an abundance of unqualified Adjusters fulfilling the catastrophe needs. As we worked our way through this storm, we believe that we came up with a better way to service these needs. Global Claim Services was born.
